A waiting game - a post about money... or lack of

VENT -
Seems I'm always waiting whether it be on child support, flex plan reimbursement, reciepts to submit to the flex plan for reimbursement, money still owed to me from my tenant for security deposit and pro-rated rent... Due to MY waiting, other's have had to wait too... such as the water company who came and shut off our water this morning. Luckily, my tenant who owes me money, was there and she paid the bill (+ $20 for them coming out and turning it off then right back on) so that lowered the amount she still owes me...
Gracie is also waiting... on new shoes. Her current pair are being held together with tape. It's not a pretty site and according to her, they aren't comfortable in the least.
To add to my problems, the tenant's dryer - provided by me - quit tumbling. Super handyman dad to the rescue! Also, my hot water heater was leaking and it caused the floor to buckle. Again, Super handyman dad to the rescue... AGAIN! For now, no leaks but the floor repair is gonna have to wait.
And... my car is getting repaired... again (and Super dad to the rescue again... No money for the repair, so dad's gonna pay it and I'll pay him back... And I WILL cuz I HATE knowing I owe someone money... too bad those who owe ME don't feel that way)... Anyway, the story on the car is... when the extended warranty expired, the gas gauge went haywire. It can show a full tank when it's about empty.. sometimes it'll show it's about empty then suddenly as if there is an invisible man filling the car as I drive down the road, it's full again. So I've been relying on the "tripometer" to know when I need gas. I'll fill her up, set the trip and then when I've driven 300 - 325 miles, I'll fill her up again and re-set the trip and do it all over again. Well, the odometer/tripometer is digital and wouldn't ya know it, the LED screen went out so... No way of knowing when I need gas. The cheaper of the 2 options (fix gas gauge or LED screen) turned out to be having the dash replaced. Oh Joy!
So that's what's up with me. Hope all is well with YOU!!! - the maybe 2 readers I have :)

Crabby old Lady

For the last 25 minutes, I've been sitting at my desk at work getting madder by the minute. See, my office is located between a local HS and its football field. When school gets out, all the football players park right outside my office window, blast crap music and change into their uniforms... On the street... outside my window. Well, crabby old lady that I'm becoming had enough. I stomped out of my office, down the hall and outside where I YELLED "Turn that shit off! I'm trying to work in here!!" pointing at my office. WHAT THE HECK was that?!?! I'm still in shock that I did that, but... IT WORKED!!
