Response to previous post

First, no DAD apparently didn't get dumped as sunshine said she saw his girlfriend a few times over the weekend and that she took G shopping too.

Secondly.. I REALLY needed yesterday's sermon after the day I had Saturday.

Loving God and Loving People:
Godly Character – Perfection
(Matthew 5:43-48)

Love for Enemies

[43]"You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' [44]But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, [45]that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. [46]If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? [47]And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? [48]Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

I'll leave it at that.

God Bless....

Did DAD get dumped?

I woke up this morning to the phone ringing. It was TF. Complaining about G's clothes. He wouldn't shut up long enough for me to tell him I send her "crap" clothes there cuz he NEVER bathes her and her clothes always get stained there. I ignored a few calls and got 2 voice mail messages chewing me out, calling me a fat ass, etc. I called the cops and found out that the Order of Protection has expired. (You'd think the courts would let a person know when the expiration was coming up)

I decided not to answer the phone anymore as he had proven so far today that the calls had nothing to do with G's well being so...I decided it wasn't important for me to answer. Well, I did answer one last time. He asked "what's this about the 4th of July that G***** keeps asking me about?" I said "she wants to come to my family's annual 4th of July party." He said "do I have her?" I said yes and the said "NO!!!" ASS!

Oh he also told me not to contact him at all anymore. If I had anything to talk to him about, tell G and she'd tell him. HELLO!!! One of the MAIN "guidelines" in divorces [or break ups] is to NOT involve the child in the parents BS. I just cannot stand him!!! It's NOT G he's concerned with, it's himself.

Before anyone tells me not to waste my energy hating him, DON'T. I know this sounds bitchy but you are NOT in the situation, it's not YOUR child being emotionally harmed. I HATE him, I always will and nothing anyone says will change that.

I didn't think of it, but my mom suggested maybe he got dumped and was taking it out on me. He does that. I recall being verbally beaten up MANY times because he had an arguement with his brother or whomever. He also ripped me a new one when he and Tara broke up. He is mental and he's hurting my child and because of the stupid laws protecting father's rights (which I have no problem with IF the father is excersising his rights for the good of the child), there's nothing I can do. Especially since my lawyer is no longer my lawyer.

Here I go... for the 3rd, 4th, 500th time. [please work this time]

Here's my little toothless sunshine.

Been a while

Well since my last blog, Sunshine lost another tooth and she has one just barely hanging in there. These are her 2 front teeth. They had been loose for a while but... mommy, against her better judgement, let Sunshine jump on a friend's trampoline Thursday evening. As she went down on her rear, someone else jumped and G's knee slammed her mouth. It was pretty nasty looking so first thing Friday morning I took her to her dentist's office. Long story short, we were to go back Monday at 9AM if they hadn't fallen out yet. Well, as I said, she lost one Friday night but she was adment about NOT going back to the denist to have it pulled so... it's still hanging in there.

On another note, Friday evening I went with my friend "Just Jill" (not to be confused with "Miss Jill") to see Forgetting Sarah Marshall. VERY Funny movie. I did a lot of laughing outloud. Saturday, after going to the chiropractor, I met sis and got G back from her and got sis's boy Bo too. The 3 of us went and saw Nim's Island Saturday afternoon. Bo was to spend the night but I think after having already spending over 24 hours with Sunshine, Bo was over it and wanted to go home. "Memaw and Papa" were in Athens Saturday evening so they picked Bo up on their way back home.

M & P were in Athens for the fund raiser for the Mexico Mission trip with the Athens Christian Church. P stayed at bro's watching my nephew, R while M when with bro, SIL and my neice, A to the fund raiser. I mention this because... At this late hour, I'm joining in on the mission trip. I got my time off from work approved, I'm working on getting my passport - gotta get a certified copy of my birth certificate from Texas - and I'm looking into the immunizations. Last thing I need to get squared away is care for Sunshine while I'm gone. Her DAD is supposed to have her for a week this summer and at first I thought it may work out that he can keep her the week I'm in Mexico but the more I think about it, the more concerned I am about being in "a whole nother country" (Forest Gump) while she's with him. So... that's one detail I still need to work out. That and finances. But I'm excited.

Better get back to work

I'll TRY to get some pics up here soon.

This SUCKS

I sent the following letter to G's DAD last week:

Again, please let me know as soon as possible what week you’d like to have G this summer as I have to get her registered for summer camp and I need to know in advance what week she will NOT be there so the camp can figure enrollment for the summer. Summer camp is $135/ week and I cannot afford to pay for an extra week. Per the order, you need to provide me with “30 days advance notice of the chosen period. In the event of a conflict in weeks, Petitioner (YOU) shall have first choice of weeks in the odd numbered years…”

And again, please don’t make me have to schedule another court date to get you to pay what you are required to pay. I have had to come up with the money for these appointments IMMEDIATELY yet I’m forced to wait MONTHS for reimbursement from you. And I haven’t even asked for reimbursement on co-pays for follow-up visits to her pediatric orthopedic surgeon or for office visits to her regular pediatrician. So, PLEASE remit $198.50 when I pick G up on Sunday. Otherwise, you will force me to schedule a court date and I know neither of us really wants that. Thanks

CC: Jeff **** (Atty)

I also attacahed a copy of the most recent bill I've had to pay

So I didn't get a check from him... imagine that. So I just called Jeff. He basically said he won't be representing me anymore… not in those words but I asked about setting a court date for Contempt of Court and he said I could do it on my own or find someone else to help me; that he didn't feel he'd have the time for it. Damn it!!! I HATE him (G's DAD). I guess I'm gonna have to do another contempt thing on my own. I'm just so upset, I'm sitting here crying. REAL professional. At least I have a door I can close.

10 Things you may not know..

When the Cat is away the mice will play (my boss-the cat-is in Mexico)

10 Things you may not know...

Dang, that was hard!!

Stolen from another blog

"Steal" this from me and post it on your blog...

2. Do you have any watermelon in your refrigerator? Uhh... no
3. What would you change about your living room? the house that it's in. Just kidding... I'd get rid of the fake fireplace that dominates the room and get more decorating options in exchange
4. Are the dishes in your dishwasher clean or dirty? Clean but I just cannot bring myself to unload them. LAZY.
5. What is in your fridge? Milk, a few beers, a few Bacardi Silver Raz drinks, yogurt, cheese (Gracie is a cheese fiend), soda, ketchup, butter, jelly, bagels. Not bad for not even being in the same buidling as my fridge right now.

7. What is on top of your refrigerator? A VCR, Satellite box and a ream of paper
8. What color or design is on your shower curtain? It's off white with sea shells
9. How many plants are in your home? None. I do NOT have a green thumb. Of all the plants I got from Randy's funeral, it only took me about 2 months to kill all but one of them. The last one lasted almost 2 years but it was a peace lily and they are hard to kill.
10. Is your bed made right now? No.

19. Do you sleep with any lights on at night? nope
20. How often do you vacuum? once a week... is that bad?
21. Standard toothbrush or electric? I actually have both
22. What color is your toothbrush? Green
23. Do you have a welcome mat on your front porch? Yep. It says WELCOME. I know...deep.
24. What is in your oven right now? Nothing.
25. Is there anything under your bed? my box of fingernail polishs and manicure items
26. Chore you hate doing the most? Geez... all of them LOL
I am a slob and a lazy fool. Floors? I guess it is floors. And making lunch. And putting away laundry. And putting away dishes. I mean, I would like to state for the record that I DO these things but I reserve the right to sigh before I do certain chores. Later. Later I will be super-freak-neat. And skinny. Later.
27. What retro items are in your home? Myself??
28. Do you have a separate room that you use as an office? not in our current house
29. How many mirrors are in your home? 6 (2 in the bathroom, 1 in each bedroom and 2 that are decorating my stupid fake fireplace)
30. Do you have any hidden emergency money around your home? HA!!! I wish... I did find a dollar in the wash yesterday though

32. Do you keep any kind of protection weapons in your home? just my shining personality
33. What does your home smell like right now? well, I'm not there right now... I'm guessing it smells good... with a slight hint of Skeeter's nasty doggy breath (YUCK!)

39. How many TVs do you have? LOL for as small as our place is, we have 4 TVs. 62" in the living room, 27" in my room, 19" - on it's last leg - in G's room and a 13" that WAS in the kitchen but is now on the floor of my bedroom closet
40. How many house phones? none actually. Only have a phone line for the computer... and since it bit the dust, guess I could cancel it
41. Do you have a housekeeper? Ha ha ha ha ha... NO!! But I think every other mother of the Brownie Scouts does... I'm always hearing them chat at the meetings about having to clean the house before the housekeeper comes the next day. WHATEVER!! [I live in the 3rd cheapest subdivision in G's school district... but I suspect we are the poorest of the Brownies]
42. What style do you decorate in? The "I have a child, damnit" style [ALWAYS some type of toy or item of G's laying somewhere it doesn't belong. Book Store, Video Store or Shoe Store set up in my livingroom nightly]

44. Is there a smoke detector in your home? You bet.
45. In case of fire, what are the items in your house which you'd grab if you only could make one quick trip? I would've said my computer (for all the pictures stored there) but since it died... I don't know... I guess my purse

Still learning

Well, it took me about 4 days to figure out / remember how to post a blog. I think I know what I'm doing now.
Gracie was at her dad's this past weekend. While there, she learned to tie her shoes. YEAH Gracie.
I let my inner man come out Friday night... I had pizza and beer and fell asleep watching the birds. Saturday, I planned to go down in the dreaded crawl space and change the furnace filters and try to find out why the satellite dish wasn't working everywhere it's supposed to, but... instead, I went to WalMart for a few things... like earrings for Gracie as it's been 6 weeks since she got her ears pierced and she was looking forward to changing her earrings when she got home from her dad's. I then did laundry the rest of the day, along with a quick nap... and ended up meeting up with my sister at the Trivia Night at the HS in Virden. I got there and hour after it started but it was fun. I know alot of useless information so I had fun... except when I didn't feel like the gal in charge of writting the answers down was listening to me....
Anyway, yesterday, I met my friend Jill for lunch at Steak N Shake - it was SO good... hadn't been there in a while - then I drug her to an open house. I'm STILL waiting on a buyer for my duplex and I'm losing hope but I really liked this house so... I'm a little more motivated again (the duplex has been listed since November). The last 2 houses I've liked have sold while I still wait for a buyer so I'm trying NOT to get attached to the place...
Tonight, Gracie has Brownie's and they are meeting at this place called China Towne. [http://www.chinatowneceramics.com/home] It looks like fun... I wanna do it to. Maybe this coming weekend she and I will...
Well, I hope you enjoyed my (boring) secong blog post. Maybe I'll even figure out how to post some pictures and get some up from the China Towne thing this evening.
Have a Great day!!
