I'm sick

It's been a while since I've posted... Just pure laziness on my part. Been having issues with TF, if you can imagine that... He just called and said "the 11th at 5" meaning that's when he wants to start his week visit. He is supposed to give me 30 days notice. He didn't. She has her 2nd Grade dental exam on the 13th and does NOT want him taking her. She cried when we discussed that he would have to take her if that's when he chose to take her. She doesn't wanna go. I don't want her to go.. Who knows who will be watching her. I'm sick

Lemme back up... here is a letter I sent him and my (former) atty and the judge which prompted his call just now:

"I’m writing you (and cc-ing Jeff **** and Judge ********) because you won’t answer when I call or return my call when I ask you to do so. It is utterly impossible to co-parent with you when you refuse to communicate with me.
As it is, you did not give 30 days notice for your week visit with Gracie this summer. I wrote you numerous times starting in the spring asking you to please let me know when / if you would exercise the allowed visitation (and for reimbursement for doctor, dentist and hospital bills). After continually being ignored, it was assumed you would not be exercising the visit (or paying me back what the court has ordered you to pay). Then on July 5, 2008 you screamed on my voice mail “oh yeah, this is my 30 days notice” (along with ordering me to “pick the little girl up in the street” rather than to pull into your driveway) but you neglected to give dates. I again wrote you, sending a handwritten note with Gracie, asking for dates. You refuse to communicate with me and I will not have you sending verbal messages through Gracie. So, unless you can calmly discuss with me spending time with Gracie by August 8th, there will be no week visit this year.
One last thing, PLEASE, if you are too busy to spend time with Gracie when it’s your weekend, do not send her off with some woman “far from daddy’s house without a car seat” so she can swim with people she has never met. I’d be happy to keep her instead."

So... as I was saying... I'm sick. I'll be re-instating a cell phone for her so I can be in contact with her... I've left a message (because he refuses to answer the phone when I call) that he needs to call me because we have things to discuss about the visit such as her dental appt and the fact that she WILL have a phone and that we will speak AT LEAST every other day.

Ugh... I'm just sick. He cannot be trusted to properly care for her and the damn judge doesn't care... "dad's have rights" and I agree but first they should have to prove they can handle being a parent which he has NOT. He was ordered to take parenting classes YEARS ago... still hasn't... still gets the normal dad's rights.

LOWLIFE (LIVIN THE HIGH LIFE)

I got Kid Rock's most recent CD yesterday and discovered TF's Theme song

LOWLIFE (LIVIN THE HIGH LIFE)

I got my Cat Scratch Fever eight-track
My best friend's in a gun rack
I'm a lowlife
I owe everybody money
I think racist jokes are funny
I'm a lowlife

I got a dirty mind, a gutter mouth
I'm makin' time, I'm goin' out
With your wife
Cuz I'm a lowlife
I'm a lowlife

I got kids I never seen
And their momma's seventeen
I'm a lowlife
I take strippers out to breakfast
You can add that to my checklist
I'm a lowlife

Ahh the landlord called the rent is due [Blogger's edit: child support is due]
I spent it all on a Kiss tattoo
I Rock n Roll all night
Cuz I'm a lowlife
I'm a lowlife
I'm a lowlife
Livin' the highlife

I'm watchin' porno on the TV
Wonderin' why she'd ever leave me
I'm a lowlife
The object of my affection
Asked the police for protection
I'm a lowlife
The romance is gone, I'm doin' fine
Me and your mom had a real good time
Just last night
Cuz I'm a lowlife
I'm a lowlife
I make black music for the white man
Keep cocaine upon my nightstand
I'm a lowlife
Ain't never hung out in the Catskills
But I've been to jail in Nashville
I'm a lowlife
I've got a dirty mind, a gutter mouth
I'm makin' time, I'm goin' out
With your wife
I'm a lowlife
I'm a lowlife
I'm a lowlife
Livin' the highlife

Disappointed

I met a guy. Actually I can't even really say that. There's this guy who I see frequently at his place of business. We've flirted for MONTHS. We have many things in common. We've had many conversations yet until this past Sunday, neither one of us even knew the other's name. After a particularly long conversation, I introduced myself to him and him to me. His name is Derek… and he's married. What's up with that? Why carry on like he (we) did for all this time when you are unavailable? So I guess it's true, (most) men are like public toilets. Either full of shit or taken.

He's married; I'm disappointed

Sunday, June 15th

After church today, Sunshine asked me "Am I supposed to take one of those little crackers and juice when they pass it at children's church?" I told her that it's called communion and after someone is baptized they can take it. We talked a little about baptism then I mentioned that maybe she can talk to Mr. Shane (Children's minister) about it sometime and she talked like maybe at the end of summer she'll get baptized. I'm SO proud of her.
AND her Sunday school teacher said "She is a very good student" Sunshine said "Yeah, I'm the only one who asks questions and participates" (Participates? She is using big words these days.. what happened to my baby?)
Happy Father's Day to any fathers who may happen to read this.

Good bye old Friend

RIP Skeeter 2/12/1996 - 6/2/2008

When it rains, it pours - our weekend

And I don't mean the crazy storms from Friday night either...
Friday after work/school, G and I decided to go to my parent's house for dinner and to spend the night. We were going with sis and her boys to see Go Diego Go at "The Fabulous Fox" in STL and would be meeting them at 8am so we opted for a sleep over instead.
Saturday morning we went to STL to see Diego. Had AWESOME seats... 3rd row. When we got back to Girard, sis & I went to the "family storage unit" to "shop" for summer clothes... [I couldn't find ANYTHING. Too much other people stuff on top of mine.] After that, went back to mom's to get G and head home. I hadn't driven my car since Friday night until we went to the storage unit and it was driving ok then... About 15 mins down the road from my parent's house, my car started driving "funny" and my service engine soon light was on. It would go from a stop fine, but when it went to shift into each subsequent gear, it jerked and acted like it wasn't getting gas. Long story (kinda) short, after church yesterday - which it drive fine to, I took it to my Bro's friend's shop and he hooked it up and found the code to be a transmission problem (really??!? LOL Never would've guessed that). So... today I dropped it off at the place that was recommended to me... It could be a $1,000 fix. UGH!! I don't have $1,000 AND on top of that, it needs new tires (desperately) and windshield wipers... Any my tenant's A/C unit is froze up AND the front window in my livingroom broke when the window came crashing down.
Happy Monday... It's looking like it could be a $2,000 day for me. I need to go talk to a banker for a short term personal loan.
